🚀 Elevator Pitch

Billions in grants go unclaimed every year, not because the funding isn’t there, but because finding and applying for it is too complex, time-consuming, and expensive.

Grant’d is changing that.

Grant’d is an intelligent platform helping businesses and nonprofits find and win the right grants, faster. Using AI, Grant’d matches founders and changemakers with the most relevant opportunities, then gives them everything they need to manage, track, and apply. All in one place.

No noise. No spreadsheets. Just smarter, simpler grant-seeking that delivers results.

💡 Back Story

Before creating Grant’d, Janine spent 18 years in fundraising and founded a consultancy helping businesses and organisations secure funding. But even with her expertise, one issue kept surfacing, the grant system was broken. It was too slow, too complicated, and left too many incredible ideas without the support they needed.

That’s when Janine made a bold move: she shifted from running a service-based business to building scalable technology.

In 2023, she and her team launched Grant’d, a platform designed to make funding more accessible, equitable, and efficient.

Her vision is clear: Connect need with opportunity, and use grants as the vehicle to do it. Because when the right people get access to the right funding, powerful things happen: Ideas grow, communities thrive, and change accelerates.

🌱 Before and After TRW

When Janine joined Tech Ready Women, Grant’d was already growing, but she knew the value of surrounding herself with smart, ambitious founders and mentors.

TRW gave her space to reflect, refine, and fill the small gaps that make a big difference when scaling. The mentoring calls, community discussions, and go-to-market insights gave her new strategies to test and validate faster.

She says, “For me, the greatest benefit was the mentoring and learning that it doesn’t have to be perfect - you just need to start, test, and grow.”

🏆 Wins

Since joining TRW, Janine and her team have achieved remarkable traction:

  • 🚀 Launched their BETA in Sept 2024 with 115 founding members

  • 💡 Relaunched publicly in Jan 2025, now with 345 paying members

  • 💰 Achieved ARR of ~$115K and an 88% retention rate

  • 📈 Growing steadily by 1–2 new members each day

  • 🧠 Building new product features to enhance the grant discovery and application experience

Grant’d has quickly become a go-to resource for founders and nonprofits ready to access funding with confidence.

🌟 What’s Next for the Business

Janine’s goal is to double Grant’d’s member base to 750 by the end of the year while expanding the platform’s functionality.

To make that possible, the team is fundraising to bring on three new developers and scale sales and marketing efforts, with the goal of completing their full product roadmap, including grant writing and submission features, within 12 months.

❓ What would you say to another woman considering joining a TRW Program?

“You don’t know what you don’t know. Joining TRW helps you harness your strengths and build where you need to grow. The TRW team are real people - genuinely invested in your success.”
