ScrubUp is an intelligent SaaS platform that standardises surgical workflows, provides procedure-specific checklists, manages sterile supplies, and delivers real-time guidance and education. It empowers clinicians, especially junior staff, to walk into the OR prepared, confident, and ready to perform.

💡 Back Story

The idea for ScrubUp was born from one unforgettable moment early in Marrianne’s nursing career: being thrown into a high-pressure vascular surgery without adequate preparation or support.

That experience revealed a systemic problem in surgical education and team readiness. Over the years, she saw the same gaps repeat: Knowledge stuck in the heads of senior nurses, last-minute staffing changes, and overwhelmed juniors under immense pressure.

Instead of walking away, Marrianne chose to build a solution. Backed by her clinical and educator experience, she created ScrubUp: a nurse-driven platform designed to capture invisible knowledge and make it accessible to every OR team, everywhere.

Before joining TRW, Marrianne had a powerful idea and early traction, but she needed clarity, structure, and the confidence to scale.

Through the TRW program, she gained strategic insight, validation, and a strong community of support. Today, ScrubUp has grown from a nurse’s idea into a globally recognised digital health solution reaching users in more than 50 countries.
